MBPJ launches KMS portal, easy access for community management

SHAH ALAM, JUL 11: The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has launched the Knowledge Management System (KMS) Portal which will make its administration more efficient and systematic.
Its Mayor, Dato’ Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain said, the initiative is introduced to MBPJ employees to share the latest information regarding its members.
“Many information can be shared through this portal among which are officers and employees’ directory, training calendar, online videos, circulars, acts, guidelines, searches and many more.
“The portal is more dynamic, the information is clear, responsive and user-friendly besides all systems in the portal are integrated through one link access.
“It can be accessed through internet or smartphones through the QR Code scanner application that can be downloaded merely through a smartphone,” he said.
He was speaking at the MBPJ Monthly Assembly No 6/2017 at Dewan Auditorium today.
At the same time, MBPJ is also introducing the E-agreement system to facilitate request for tender and quotation processes.
“All tender submission will be reviewed online through the agreement checklist site.
“Successful application status will be sent to relevant department for follow-up actions and this method will facilitate a more complete review of the agreement.
“These two facilities are expected to be fully utilised for the benefit of stakeholders and community,” he said.
