Puchong City Centre road project to overcome traffic issue

BY AFIX REDZUAN
SHAH ALAM, JUL 7: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) will improvise to create a new traffic flow around Jalan Bandar Tiga and Jalan Bandar Enam Belas, Pusat Bandar Puchong.
Kinrara Assemblyman, Ng Sze Han said there is a small roundabout near the three-junction between a supermarket and a commercial premise which was causing confusion to road users.
It is more confusing when there are people who come against the one-way traffic beside the supermarket and make an illegal turning into the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).
“MPSJ has temporarily removed the roundabout last six months, we have done a study and we added a road-divider on Jalan Bandar Tiga and the road beside Jalan Bandar Enam Belas until the end of the junction.
“Now, vehicles cannot turn to the right to go to the supermarket,” he said as reported by Sinar Harian.
Ng said, MPSJ will turn Jalan Bandar Tiga into a two-way street and place barricades to prevent vehicles from that road to turn against the traffic to exit into LDP.
He said, MPSJ will put up a notice regarding the new traffic flow to prevent confusion and that is estimated to cost RM20,000 while the work has started since last month.
