Shah Alam receives two new Smart Selangor Free Bus routes

SHAH ALAM, JUL 20: Two more new routes for Smart Selangor free bus service in the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) administration area have been set up since July 1.
Head of Corporate and Public Relations Division, Shahrin Ahmad said the addition has made MBSA now have five routes, compared to just three before this.
He said the service will be available as early as 6 am and ended at 10 pm daily.
“The target passengers for this bus services are the low-income group, senior citizens, students, industry workers and government employees.

“MBSA hopes to encourage the use and enhancement of the public transport system around Shah Alam, as well as making the journey for road user smoother,” he told SelangorKini.
The new additional routes for Route 4 go through a couple of sections such as Section 7, Section 16 and Section 17, covering 20 kilometres (KM).
It starts in front of Section 17 Bus Stop and go through places like Ken Rimba Section 16, Section 16 Market, Padang Jawa Commuter Section 17, Jakel, Section 7, i-City Section 7, and Shah Alam Hospital Section 7.
Meanwhile, Route 5 go through Section 13, Section U1, U2, Section U6 and Section U8 with a distance of 34 KM.
It starts at Section 13 Bus Stop and go through areas such as Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Section U1, Royal Malaysian Police SMS Complex (PDRM) Section U2, Complex Space U8 Section U8, D’Bayu Section U8, Plaza Jelutong Section U8 and Management and Science University (MSU) Section 13.
