14 NGOs received State Government’s aid

SHAH ALAM, AUG 17: 14 non-governmental associations (NGO) received donation checks from State Government to help the poor in the state.
Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development Exco, Dr Daroyah Alwi said the State Government appreciates all the NGOs’ contributions and services to the communities.
“Hopefully this small help will encourage them to continue to serve the communities around them.

“There are also advised to support the State Government’s Peduli Rakyat incentives so that no Selangor citizens will be left out in enjoying the benefit of being the citizen of this state,” she said in a statement.
The aid handover ceremony was held at Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (SUK) yesterday.
NGOs who received them were Bandar Sungai Buaya Hindu Culture Organisation, USJ 9 Al Falah Mosque, Rotary Club of Kajang, Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Belah Parents Teachers’ Association and Selangor’s People with Disability Charity Foundation, Semenyih.
Other recipients were Sri Sai Orphanage, Bukit Subang Prihatin Association, Saujana Prihatin Association, Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor Baitul Kasih Welfare Association, Ehsan Penyayang Association, Pandan Welfare and Education Home, Selangor Branch of Malaysian Consultative Council of Bhuddism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhsm and Taoism, Selangor Entrepreneurial Community Association and the Good Samaritan Social & Charity Organisation Malaysia.
