30% registration fee rebate on UNISEL 2.0 Open Day

SHAH ALAM, AUG 17: The public has the chance to enjoy up to 30% rebate for registration fee at the Selangor University Open Day (UNISEL 2.0) for this September’s intake.
Its Corporate Communications Director, Hasril Abu Hassan said the open day is organised for the second time to create awareness about UNISEL to the public besides strengthening its brand name.
He said UNISEL expects to produce more graduates consistent with current universities’ requirement, after producing thousands of graduates before this.

“We are maintaining the same concept as the last event where the activities are not just entertainment but also filled with educational activities for the whole family.
“We cooperated with several State Government’s agencies to ensure only the best for our visitors,” he said to SelangorKini today.
This time, UNISEL collaborated with Education, Human Capital Development, Science, Technology and Innovation Standing Committee to bring the Jelajah Generasi Idaman Selangor (GeMS) Carnival in conjunction with UNISEL 2.0 Open Day.
It will be held for three days in UNISEL Shah Alam Campus from August 25 to 27.
Hasril said, the State Government has also entrusted UNISEL to organise the Selangor Job Fair and Entrepreneurial Carnival with collaboration with Hijrah Selangor.
He said, visitors will be entertained through The Stage Media Hiburan Concert featuring popular artists such as Dayang Nurfaizah, Ramli Sarip, Wani Hasrita, Syamel AF and Lan Kristal.
“We will also cooperate with State Government to organise GeMS Charity Concert featuring Aiman Tino, Amira Othman, Hakiem Rusli and Akhil Hayy.
“Besides concerts, we will have slots for educational entertainment programme such as Santai@UNISEL Siri 5, Bicara Kemerdekaan, Wacana Sinar Harian, Sembang Santai and Sketsa Komedi,” he said.
Other programmes include GeMS and UNISEL, Senam Seni, Faculty Exhibtion, Academic Talks, Street Soccer, Netball Championsip and Drumline Battle.
