SEPANG, AUG 4: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali launched the Program Turun Padang in this district with a breakfast at Warung Wak Gintong, Kampung Bukit Canggang.
He and his entourage arrived at the stall famous for its roti boom as early as 8.30 a.m.
Mohamed Azmin, clad in a light brown shirt and accompanied by a convoy of superbikers were welcomed by the Village Head, Sharif Ngatani and other local leaders.
This morning, he chose to have nasi lemak, lempeng and hot black tea.
As usual, Mohamed Azmin fulfilled requests for photography with him by visitors to the stall.
Also present were State Government Secretary, Dato’ Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya and State Excos such as Dr Daroyah Alwi, Dato’ Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and Zaidy Abdul Talib.
After half an hour, Mohamed Azmin moved to the next location at the Dewan Orang Ramai Taman Gemilang for the Notice 5A Handover Ceremony.
Besides roti boom, Warung Tok Gintong also serves other menus such as nasi lemak, various noodles and goodies.
