BY: LIZAWATI MADFA
KAJANG, AUG 5: The State Government will always give opportunity and room for the private sector to develop Selangor and bring benefits to the rakyat.
Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the private sector is the State Government’s partner to enable Selangor to remain the most developed state through sustainable economic growth.
“It is not the State Government’s duty to conduct business because it is not our responsibility.
“But the State Government will give support and prepare facilities to help the private sector to develop Selangor successfully together,” he said.

He said this at the Suntex Community Hall and Market Groundbreaking Ceremony in Cheras recently.
The project was jointly developed by Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) and developer, OSK Property Holdings Berhad.
It is a condition imposed by MPKj on OSK because the present market at the site is old and would need to be redeveloped in accordance to Suntex’s modern style.
Both parties then agreed to build a community hall and a market under one roof at the existing 2.76 acre site.
The wet market will be at the ground floor of the building while the first floor will have a multipurpose hall with two badminton courts, management office and food stall facilities.
The construction will be done in two phases with phase one involving the demolition of the old market which has been completed.
Phase two will involve construction at the site that has been underway since March and is expected to be completed in December 2018.
