SELAYANG, AUG 2: The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has introduced the Flexi Parking application which is a smart car parking-payment system using smartphones.
MPS Yang Dipertua, Suliman Abd Rahman said with the application, it is easier for drivers to pay their parking fees without using coupons nor tickets.
“This system is MPS’s initiative to improvise carpark management to be more efficient and systematic.
“With the rapid technology advancement, everything is it your fingertips, same goes with car park payment system, only using your smartphones,” he said after Flexi Parking Application Launching Ceremony recently.
Suliman also hopes that the community can accept the change.
“Nevertheless, scratch-coupons and monthly passes can still be used for now,” he said.
