Selangor to announce ‘big’ investment this August 24

PELABUHAN KLANG, AUG 14: The State Government is expected to announce a new investment prospect worth RM2 billion, on this August 24.
Investment, Small & Medium Industries, Trade and Transport Exco, Dato’ Teng Chang Khim said, the announcement will be made by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
“I cannot tell further but just to a give an indication of good news to State Government and citizens,” he said to SelangorKini.
Mohamed Azmin had earlier revealed that an European company is surveying the prospect of investing in the state and shall be putting an investment worth RM2 billion.
He said, the sealing of the deal will be announced after Selangor delegation’s visit to the country, in mid August.

He said, the positive development will increase the state’s income in the long run.
Last July, the cooperation between the State Government and Japan shall bring in an investment worth RM1.2 billion.
The investment requires high technology and skilled workforces.
Optimistic that the excellent momentum can be achieved, Mohamed Azmin said, the positive development in the state is due to the State Government’s transparent administration.
