SMFF attracted over 180,000 visitors

SHAH ALAM, AUG 7: The Malaysian No 1 Food Fest, Selangor Mega Food Festival (SMFF) 2017 has successfully attracted over 180,000 visitors from various race in the two days of its programme.
The fest closed its curtain last night, gathering over 100 urban, traditional and contemporary food operators in the whole of Lembah Klang.
Youth, Sports, Culture and Entrepreneur Development Exco, Amirudin Shari said the festival being held for third time still attracts big number of visitors as in 2015.

“We achieved the targeted visitor number. We saw the visitors were very excited.
“Food operators were also very creative in their presenting various food making which made it more interesting,” he said at the SMFF closing ceremony at Dataran Kemerdekaan.
Amirudin said, the effort to empower food operators are continuously done with the presence of food operators from districts such as Sabak Bernam and Kuala Langat, at that festival.
He added that the State Government is always reviving various ideas to help entrepreneurs from all levels to generate more income.

The food fest also featured some cultural shows while presenting the State Government, Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat.
SMFF was held last Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight.
