Tripartite meeting focused on strengthening PAKATAN

KUALA LUMPUR, AUG 14: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali explained that the tripartite meeting with Pakatan Harapan De Facto Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Harapan Chairman, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed is more towards issues to strengthen the coalition ahead of the general election.
According to him, the meeting was held when they were all present to listen to the date set for the decision on the case between Anwar and Umno Youth Chief, Khairy Jamaluddin.
“We talk about the country’s future, how we can work together more effectively to face Barisan Nasional in the coming election.

“Tun is also concerned on the Nothing To Hide 2.0 incident yesterday and we hope police will take stern action on the offenders and we shall monitor the development,” he said.
In the same development, he asked for his visit to PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang with KEADILAN President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to not be politicised.
He said it is to visit with prayers that Abdul Hadi will recover after his operation and is resting well.
“In fact Wan Azizah wanted to visit Abdul Hadi earlier but due to health issues, it was postponed to give him time to rest.
“Alhamdulillah he is getting better and will recover soon insyaAllah,” he said.
