SHAH ALAM, SEO 7: The Malaysian Youth Council (MBB) condemns the Myanmar military’s atrocities on the Muslim Rohingya in the latest conflict in Rakhine district, last August 25.
Its President, Muaamar Ghadafi Jamal Jamaluddin said, the series of violence are increasing when over 400 houses burnt, the Rohingya were hunted, tortured and killed.
He said, the crime against humanity needs the world’s immediate attention and he urges all Malaysians to rise up and condemn the atrocities.

“Almost 125,000 Rohingya had to flee from Myanmar into Bangladesh in the past two weeks.
“Myanmar government’s failure to stop these violence raises doubts in the international community on the sincerity of Prime Minister, Aung San Suu Kyi’s administration,” he said in a statement.
Muaamar said, MBM urges the United Nations (UN) to hold a special session to find the best resolution on this matter immediately.
“We urge UN to call representatives from Myanmar government and the Rohingya in a special session to resolve the bloody conflict as soon as possible.
“The ethnic cleansing crime in Rakhine is no different from the war crimes done by the Serbians on Muslims in Bosnia in the early 1990s,” he said.

In a most recent case seen through satellite images, approximately 700 houses inhabited by the Rohingyas were burnt by the Myanmar soldiers.
The images showed a village destroyed by fire in a latest case of violence in Rakhine.
The Human Rights Watch (HRW) Group claims that the Myanmar army intentionally burned the entire Cheir Khar Li village inhabited by Rohingya Muslims last week to cover the massacre committed against the ethnic minority.
