Rumah Selangorku project on schedule

BY NAZLI IBRAHIM
SHAH ALAM, SEP 26: The State Government is confident that 22,000 out of the 97,432 approved Rumah Selangorku units will be completed on schedule.
The Housing, Building Management and Urban Settlement Exco, Dato’ Iskandar Abdul Samad said the State Government monitors the project regularly to ensure it does not burden buyers.
“The State Government closely monitors the project as we understand the public’s pressing need to own houses rather than having to rent,” he said to SelangorKini.
Nevertheless, he informed that there are some issues currently as several banks had rejected buyers’ loan applications.

He added that the State Government itself had taken the initiative to create various schemes relating to the housing sector in the Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) to help its citizens, particularly those in low-income group, to own houses.
