International collaboration sparks a new era in education

PADANG, OCT 13: The Selangor University (UNISEL) will continue to collaborate with international counterparts to create a new impact in education, particularly in the Southeast Asia region.
Its Students’ Development and International Community, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Profesor Dr Shaharudin Badaruddin said constructive cooperation between universities will produce a huge impact and help build a great talent bank.
“On behalf of the university, I would like to congratulate Universitas Dharma Andalas who is cooperating to enhance the higher education.
“Cooperation between Malaysian and Indonesian universities will bring positive impact to the economy and social aspects,” he said.
He was speaking in conjunction with the 2017 Annual Conference on Economics, Business, Accounting and Social Sciences (ACEBASS) at Aula Bank Indonesia.

The seminar themed “Sustainability Development In Achieving Economic Independence” also features academicians from Malaysian and Indonesian universities.
Commenting further on the event, Dr Shaharudin said it corresponds with the current global situation with its uncertainties that are affecting many countries.
“A seminar like this will open the eyes of many parties particularly graduates to create a progressive and sustainable territory,” he said.
