SABAK BERNAM, OCT 6: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the lowest-premium formula for Notice 5A recipients can only be found in Selangor.
He said, every recipient need to pay just a nominal premium rate of RM1,000, compared to the current rate that could reach hundreds of thousands of ringgit for agricultural land.
He said, recipients are however subject to the condition not to sell to a third party and to ensure that the land is well kept whether it is used for both residential or agricultural purposes
“For example, the current premium value for a Malay reserve land here is RM68,000 for 1,000 square metres, while agricultural land is up to RM80,000 per acre.
“But we realise that it is high for the people, so the State Government has set that every application to only pay a premium of RM1,000.
“This is the biggest discount, where can you get such offer,” he said.
He said that during Penyerahan Notis 5A dan Menyemarak Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) Ceremony at Kampung Hala Cara Baru Hall today.
The ceremony saw a total of 48 residents of Kampung Hala Cara Baru and four residents of Kampung Belia 2 being offered the Notice 5A after years of waiting.
Mohamed Azmin said the current premium value for land in the area is RM68 per square metre and up to RM80,000 per acre for agricultural land.
“However, in the Selangor Land Code, the rate is RM8.42 per square metre and RM200 only per acre for agricultural land.
“Although it is already low, we still offer nominal rates so that people are not burdened,” he said.
The ceremony also witnessed 78 Hijrah participants receiving a microcredit loan scheme with a total value of RM592,000.
Other IPR contributions are Food Stamp and Bantuan Rumah Prihatin.
