On Aug 24, it was reported that strong winds had caused the ceiling of the Bukit Raja toll plaza in Klang to collapse at about 10pm.

The plaza’s operation however was resumed at about 4am the following day.

Meanwhile, commenting on the government’s plan in abolishing tolls, Azman said that the matter is still in series of discussion where little can be revealed about the matter for the time being.

“We are currently in talks with the government in reaching a mutual agreement for the benefit of all.

“I can’t elaborate the details but for now, its suffice for me to say that its still on going,” he said.

He added that toll concessions period is only supposes to end in February 2038.

Previously, ruling coalition Pakatan Harapan in its election manifesto, had promised to abolish tolls in stages if it formed the Federal Government.
