Zawawi: Selangor doesn’t need another voice from BN

KOTA RAJA: Selangor state assembly does not require another voice from the opposition, mainly Barisan Nasional (BN).

PKR Sungai Kandis by-election candidate Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni said this is because have previously failed to look after the welfare of the people of Selangor.

“Selangor DUN don’t need an additional voice from the opposition.”

“The opposition are not able tp implement any welfare to the people as the state and federal government of the day is under the governance of Pakatan Harapan (PH),” he said.

Speaking at a press conference at the PKR Sungai Kandis Command Centre here, Zawawi vowed to focus solely on being a leader for the people.

He assured the people that their voice will be brought over to the Selangor state assembly so that it can be heard in a just and fair manner.

“I would like for the people of Sungai Kandis to join a government that has been proven to be skilled, just and is always against corruption in its administration,” he said.

Zawawi will be facing BN’s Lokman Noor Adam and independent candidate Murthy Krishnasamy on August 4.

The Sungai Kandis by-election was called following the death of Shuhaimi Shafiei on July 2 due to lymphoma.
