BUKIT JELUTONG – Selangor-based company Remulti Sdn Bhd is now the sole distributor for valves produced by ALCO Valves Group here in Malaysia. This was announced at the soft launch of the opening of Remulti Sdn Bhd at their newly-opened factory in Bukit Jelutong on August 29, 2018.
The event was officiated by the Managing Director of Remulti Sdn Bhd, Azlie Kemaluddin, alongside the Managing Director of ALCO Valves Group, Sam Crossley.
Remulti Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian private limited company incorporated since 17th May 2016 and is the exclusive stockist/distributor for Graco Inc in Malaysia, a world leader in fluid handling systems and components founded in 1926.
“With an experienced workforce, good engineers and the presence of a good local partner, we felt that Malaysia is suitable for actual manufacture of valves to be done,” said Sam Crossley, managing director of ALCO Valves Group.
In September 2014, Graco Inc acquired ALCO Valves Group as one of their subsidiary companies. Ever since Remulti Sdn Bhd was incorporated, the company has been their exclusive agent in Malaysia.
“The oil and gas extraction business deals with high temperature and high pressures all the time, hence the safety requirement gets higher, so any leakage from the valves has to be restricted. Our valves are better qualified for this,” he said.
By having a local manufacturer here, the period of time to prepare a valve for the end user can now be decreased tremendously. “When an end-user has a problem, instead of telling them to wait 12 weeks, we can now turn around and tell them that the product will be ready in eight hours, that’s what we’re aiming to do with our partners here,” said Sam.

Among the activities done at the launch were demonstrations from a couple of service providers including MTVS for their Portable valve testing Equipment, Bumiwangsa for the demo on their Control Panel, and Graco for their demo on pumps. The demonstrations took place using Remulti’s valves in their premise in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
