KP SELANGOR – BEST COMPANY TO WORK FOR IN ASIA

PETALING JAYA – Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (“KPS” or “the Group”) received recently an award for creating workplace excellence and promoting greater employee engagement under the Malaysia edition of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia category at the 2018 HR Asia Award ceremony.

The award ceremony was held at the New World Hotel here on 12 October 2018, with more than 500 corporate leaders and HR practitioners in attendance.

HR Asia is the most authoritative publication for senior HR professionals in the region.

HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Awards 2018 was judged by independent panel of industry experts, academics, journalists and government representatives based on HR Asia Employee Input Survey Report (EIS) and the HR Asia Workplace and Employee Engagement Survey (WEES).

This year, 9,972 employees from a total of 310 Malaysian corporations and multinational companies responded to the survey.

“A company is only as good as its people, and we are proud to include in our team some of the best talents. As such, we are honoured to be selected as an HR Asia Award recipient which is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment in creating a culture of productivity and equality for our most valuable resource, our employees,” said Ahmad Fariz Hassan, CEO of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad.

KPS fosters positive employee engagement at all levels through various employee engagement activities, demonstrating best practices in employee engagement and workplace excellence across the region, which include equal opportunities by employing, developing and rewarding employees based on performance, meritocracy and fairness.

Last year, KPS was the Silver Award recipient for 2017 Employer of Choice Award (Private Sector) by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), the sole and independent body in Malaysia that certifies Human Resource practitioners in the country.
