MORIB – The Selangor Budget 2019, to be tabled on November 23, is expected to modernise the group of entrepreneurs in the state.

The EXCO of Entrepreneur Development, Rural Development, Village and Tradition Village, Rodziah Ismail said it was to ensure that entrepreneurs were not just at the “ordinary” level.

“The Selangor government, especially under the portfolio, is hoping that this budget allows entrepreneurs to have capital to own assets.

“Hence, in order to make it, the State Government will further enhance the human development of these traders,” said Rodziah.

This was said after the Selangor Entrepreneur Touring Carnival 2018 at the district of Kuala Langat, on Morib Beach Square on Nov 18.

Commenting further, she also expressed her excitement to hear the budget announcement this time as it was the first time the State and Federal Government moved in tandem.

“For almost 10 years the State Government is trying to ‘survive’ itself without expecting assistance from the Federal Government fully, but this time we are the same and I’m sure there will be a shocking element in the budget of 2019.

“If we were left behind before to benefit from the Federal Government, now it is no longer, I’m sure such an element will help entrepreneurs in Selangor,” she said.
