A NEW POLICY FOR HOME BUYERS IN SELANGOR

GOMBAK – The Selangor government will announce a new policy to facilitate the people of the state to buy houses through the Selangor Budget 2019, which will be tabled tomorrow.

Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari, said the implementation was expected to commence with the cooperation of the Chief Minister (MBI) Incorporation which acted as the main pioneer to build the houses.

“What is unique about this policy is that the MBI is not just building the people a home, but we will help the people to get the first 10 percent of the money to buy the house.

“The detailed announcement will be announced in the budget later and I am confident this strategic partnership will benefit the people of Selangor,” he told the media.

This was said after the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Phase 2A Medium Cost Apartment at Lot 69831, here yesterday.

MBI’s Chief Operating Officer, Soffan Affendi Aminudin said he was also committed to implement affordable housing for Selangor residents, as recommended by Amirudin.

“We want to build a strong and concrete formula and framework to make it happen, as we expect to see within the next quarter,” he said.
