Additional programs to be implemented in conjunction with school holidays

SHAH ALAM – A special allocation of RM5,000 will be channeled to the Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Ebor Batu 3 for the implementation of the additional program ahead of the school holidays soon.

The EXCO of Entrepreneur Development, Rural Development, Village and Traditional Village, Rodziah Ismail said the contribution would allow the school to plan ahead to fill the student’s leisure time with beneficial activities.

“The thing that worries me the most is every time the school season arrives, a student’s parents go to work and it’s likely that no one can manage and monitor the child.

“In almost one and a half month of school holiday, I hope the school will provide additional programs that are suitable for students such as computer training, language classes or cultural learning,” said Rodziah.

This was said after the opening of the school’s Excellence Award Day, at Batu 3 Multipurpose Hall last night.

The colorful event was attended by 112 students who were awarded certificates and trophies of outstanding performance displayed during the year.

At the same time, Rodziah, who is also the Batu Tiga State Assemblyman, expressed her pride in the current development of the school, especially from the academic achievement of its students.

According to Rodziah, the school was proven to be successful, in Selangor, despite the fact that the number of students was not so high.

“It is hoped that this success is not to be achieved or felt by a only a few, but everyone needs to work together to set benchmarks for more success.

“Most importantly, priority should be given to children because we want to see them grow into useful people and be devoted to the nation, in the future,” she said.

Also present were Subang Jaya Zone Council Member, Kesminder Singh; SJK Professor (T) Ebor Farm, R Sumathy; Chairman of SJK Management Board (T) Ebor Farm, M Periasamy and President of PIBG SJK (T) Ebor Estate, R Partiba.
