PERANGSANG SELANGOR AWARDED AS EMPLOYER OF CHOICE FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS


SUBANG JAYA – Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) won for the second time the Silver Award of the “Employer of Choice” category (Private Sector) by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (“MIHRM”) at the latter’s 18 th Malaysia-International HR Awards 2018 ceremony.

MIHRM is the sole professional and independent body for Human Resource Management authorised to certify Human Resource (HR) practitioners in Malaysia.

Chief Executive Officer of Perangsang Selangor, Ahmad Fariz Hassan expressed, “We are very honoured and proud to be recognised for two consecutive years for our commitment to developing human talents. This recognition is a manifest of the effective efforts we have put in place in aligning the HR strategies and practices with Management aspirations and the Group’s vision and mission”.

The MIHRM Employer of Choice Award recognises continuous efforts in the development of human talents through the alignment of HR strategies with business objectives, goals and KPIs. This include programmes such as talent management, leadership development and progressive and dynamic HR management policies and practices.

Ultimately, through the award, MIHRM aims to promote HR as an integral ‘business partner’ and demonstrate the importance of HR strategic initiatives in realising organisational goals.

Having bagged the same award last year, KPS has proven its commitment to creating sustainable value for the Company by inculcating a high-performance culture that prioritises on human capital development, which includes talent management.

“Since 2016, we have successfully completed a number of new acquisitions. We intend to expand these investments and turn them into market leaders. With business sustainability in mind, we strive to equip our people with the required skillsets and exposure to become business experts, so that we could export their enhanced talents at subsidiary level”, explained Ahmad Fariz.

More than 33 Malaysian corporations including multinational companies participated in this year’s competition where Perangsang Selangor emerged as Silver Award Winner for Employer of Choice (Private Sector Category).

Chief Operating Officer of Perangsang Selangor, Suzila Khairuddin received the award which was presented by Dato’ Amir Bin Omar Secretary General, Ministry of Human Resource Malaysia during a gala dinner attended by over 450 corporate leaders and representatives from all over Malaysia.
