PICKnGO supports P3KU Carnival with free rides

Subang Jaya – Malaysia’s only taxi e-hailing app PICKnGO did their part in giving back to the community by offering free rides around the Subang Jaya and USJ areas for visitors taking part in the Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Subang Jaya (P3KU) Carnival at Summit USJ.

An annual event, P3KU organized the carnival to continue helping special needs children learn independence and life skills, and show that special needs children, like all children, have the support they need to be successful.

According to PICKnGO’s Executive Director Valerie Chan, the good work done by P3KU to support special needs children in Subang Jaya is one such initiative, and PICKnGO is proud to support them.

“PICKnGO’s collaboration here is part of our goal to strengthen the bonds within communities and we are always ready to support the needs of passengers especially those with special needs,” Chan said.

Meanwhile P3KU chairperson Jessie Yau said the organisation’s goal was to develop confidence in special needs children. Aside from showcasing handicrafts and other goodies made by the community, the carnival also saw the children perform dance routines, play musical instruments and sing.

The event was graced by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, YB Hannah Yeoh.
