SAY IGNITE FOR SELANGOR YOUTHS RETURNS

KUALA LUMPUR – The SAY IGNITE 2018 program returns for a second year and will be hosted by the Selangor Youth Community (SAY) on Nov 11, at Taman Tasik Shah Alam.

Its chief executive officer, Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon said it was aimed at attracting youths of various backgrounds and capable of highlighting their talents in the program.

He said the program was an opportunity for youth to exchange ideas and to foster relationships.

“This program is a continuing initiative of SAY to continue the recovery through creative content and social activities, in Taman Tasik Shah Alam and surrounding areas.

“A lot of interesting activities will take place and we urge all youth especially the people of Selangor to participate in the program,” he told a news conference after the launch of SAY IGNITE 2018, at Hotel Sunway Putra, here yesterday.

The launching ceremony was officiated by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia (DYTM) Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah.

SAY IGNITE 2018 will feature some exciting activities including kayak racing; Fun Run; Ship Yacht Introduction Class; photography exhibitions and traditional games.

In addition, a Youth Debate will be held, as well as an Art Gallery exhibition; Street Soccer; Ride Your City and performances of popular artists including Ismail Izzani and Alif Satar.

SAY IGNITE was first organized in April 2017 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Center with 3,000 participants involved.
