PNSB emerged the first GLC to contribute to the State Government

SHAH ALAM – Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) became the first state-owned subsidiary (GLC) to provide a direct contribution of RM6 million for the financial year of 2019.

PNSB’s Chief Executive Officer, Dato ‘Seri Ahmad Omar said the contribution was to realize the intention of the State Government to target a RM50 million collection of all GLCs under it.

“For the sake of state development, PNSB agrees to pay the contribution directly to the State Government.

“With this RM6 million contribution, PNSB contributes 12 percent of the total targeted State Government for the next year,” he said after attending PNSB’s Board of Directors Meeting on Dec 13.

He said PNSB’s contributions were also part of PNSB’s corporate social responsibility where it would be channeled to the needy.

Earlier, PNSB Board of Directors’ Meeting was chaired by Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari Amirudin who is also the Chairman of PNSB’s Board of Directors.

The meeting was also attended by State Financial Officer, Dato ‘Nor Azmie Diron who is also a member of the Board of Directors of PNSB and other members of the board.
