Systematic Development for Klang

SHAH ALAM – The long-term Master Plan through the Klang Local Plan (Replacement) 2035 is provided to ensure that the development of Taman Sentosa, Klang can be designed more systematically, Ng Sze Han said.

The EXCO of Local Government, Public Transport and Development of  Kampung Baru said it is in line with the state government’s policy of creating a harmonious and sustainable residential area and meeting the quality of life of its people.

“The current development practice in Taman Sentosa is based on piecemeal development that is in line with the majority land owned by individuals.”

“This method is not based on comprehensive plan but is more of an ad-hoc development.”

“As a result, the development does not provide complete infrastructure facilities as well as basic amenities that meets the needs of the people,” he said.

He said this in reply to the question of Sentosa State Assemblyman, Gunarajah George on the state government’s plan to organize and redevelop the Sentosa DUN in order to develop more systematic areas at the State Assembly (DNS) here today.
