The State Government plans to place ‘Made in Selangor’ products to R & R

DENGKIL – The State Government will discuss with PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) to create a kiosk in the rest and care (R & R) centre to market  ‘Made in Selangor’ products.

Entrepreneur Development, Rural, Village and Traditional Village EXCO , Rodziah Ismail said many  ‘Made in Selangor’ products are of high quality but has no place to market.

“I will be discussing with PLUS to hold a ‘Made in Selangor’ kiosk with a ‘Homemade Market’ theme to market products from Selangor.

“In this ‘Homemade Market’ we can combine various products in one kiosk. So many entrepreneurs can be involved, ” she said.

This was said by Rodziah at the Launching Ceremony of the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEP) PLUS at R & R Dengkil south, here.

The launching of the program was completed by the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

There are also plans for ‘Made In Selangor’ products to be supplied into supermarkets and shopping centers in collaboration with AEON.

Prior to that, the products were exhibited at supermarkets for a period of time.

‘Made In Selangor’ was implemented as a marketing medium and a starting point for introducing local products to the wider market.

It also provides opportunities for entrepreneurs to engage in their business.

Commenting on the WEP initiative program, Rodziah said she praises PLUS’s effort in empowering women entrepreneurs and should be exemplary to other private parties.
