MB Continues The Tradition of Visiting The Masses in Conjunction with Ramadan

GOMBAK – Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari takes the opportunity to visit residents in five houses at the Sungai Tua State Assembly in conjunction with the Ziarah Kasih Ihya Ramadan 2019 programme on 28 April.

He said the programme, which had become a tradition, is aimed at visiting some of the affected people who were suffering from illness and to mingle with them.

He said contributions were also made to the population including basic necessities such as kitchen utensils, adult diapers and a small amount of cash.

“Today, I took the opportunity to visit some of my friends who helped me a lot previously,  now most of them are ill and can not live normally,” he said.

“Hopefully with this donated contribution can ease their burden especially in conjunction with the arrival of Ramadan,” he said when met at the event.”

Earlier, Amirudin also spent time to perform Asar prayers and join an afternoon banquet with residents around Masjid Nur An Kampung Wira Damai, Batu Caves.

After the prayer, Amirudin rode his own motorcycle with several residents and representatives of the Sungai Tua DUN office in order to visit five houses near the area that are in need of assistance.

Commenting on the development of the four-storey Block F Flat Taman Keramat Permai that has been affected by fracture, Amirudin said his department has yet to receive any reports.

“We shall see the results by tomorrow because there has been no decision yet,” he said.
