MB Meets Japan’s Leading Conglomerate

SHAH ALAM – The Selangor delegation, headed by Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari, met the largest construction conglomerate of Japan, Daiwa House Industry, during his working visit in the state, recently.

Amirudin stated that at the meeting, the leading companies presented a follow-up project in Selangor as well as the next phase of the construction plan.

“Daiwa has previously started construction of their logistics hub and their distribution in Selangor,” said Amirudin.

“The hub is being built in Shah Alam and is expected to be completed by January 2020,” he said in a statement.

Also participating in the entourage was EXCO Investment, Industry, and Small and Medium Industry Trade, Dato’ Teng Chang Khim and Investor Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Hasan Azhari Idris.

Previously, Daiwa House Industry was reportedly building the first multinational logistics facility in Malaysia at Shah Alam.

The project, named ‘D Project Malaysia 1’, covers an area of ​​30,000 square meters with an area of ​​18,000 square meters, while the rental area is 16,500 square meters.

The same company has previously developed the Long Duc Industrial Park in Vietnam in 2011, as well as developing logistics facilities in several other countries including Thailand and Indonesia.
