State Secretary – Amirudin Injected Fresh Ideas Into State Administration

SHAH ALAM – After a year appointed as Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari was deemed to have injected fresh ideas into the state government.

State Secretary Dato’ Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya said the state’s top leaders had the idea of bringing the state of Selangor to remain as the leader or benchmark in the country.

“Honestly, in my idea he is constantly fresh, vibrant and has high empathy and is always listening to views or ideas from all quarters, especially civil servants in Selangor,” he said.

“I believe under the leadership of Dato’ Menteri Besar now, Selangor will be in safe hands.”

He added that although every leader has different leadership styles and aspirations, it is believed that Amirudin will continue Selangor’s progress and development through his ideas.

Mohd Amin said this could be seen through the introduction of Selangor Clusterization such as Cluster Aeropolis and Aerospace, Automotive Industry Cluster and Support Industry and the Cluster of Agriculture and Agro-based Industries as a new strategy to boost the state’s economy.

“Amirudin also showed great concern over the interests of the people’s homes when injecting ideas through Rumah Idaman Rakyat Selangor,” said Mohd Amin.

“His efforts have attracted housing developers to cooperate with the state government subsidiary to build the property.”

Amirudin was sworn in as the 16th Selangor Menteri Besar on 19 June 2018, replacing Dato ‘Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali who joined the Federal Government Cabinet as the Minister of Economic Affairs.
