MBI: Let’s Improve the State’s Economy

SUBANG – “Let’s boost the state economy,” is the order of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI), Raja Shahreen Raja Othman.

He said this during the MBI Lebaran Jalinan Lebaran at the Saujana Kuala Lumpur Subang Hotel here on 1 July.

“Today MBI celebrates business partners from all over the country and the state, we are not just trading with them but at the same time making friends,” he said.

“Hopefully with this friendship we will be together to further boost the state economy as well as the country,” he added.

The ceremony which began at 12 noon was also graced by the presence of Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari.

Also present were EXCO Culture and Tourism, Malay Civilization and Heritage Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari and State Secretary Dato’ Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya.

Commenting further, Raja Shahreen noted that besides corporate colleagues, MBI also celebrated members of MBI’s family members.

“It is estimated that around 3,000 guests are attending today,” he said.

A variety of delicacies are served to guests including dimsum, lemang, ketupat and also durian ice cream.
