SACC Mall Receives Selected Trading Zone Rating

SHAH ALAM – The Shah Alam Convention Center (SACC) Mall, under PKNS Real Estate Sdn Bhd (PREC), received the Central Zone-Based Zone (ZPT) rating from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) recently.

PREC’s Chief Executive Officer, Fakru Radzi Ab Ghani said the rating following the mall was at its best in compliance with the law enforced by the Enforcement Division of the KPDNHEP, for three consecutive years.

“We always ensure that traders comply with the government’s stipulated laws so that businesses within the premises of the PREC can be implemented transparently and consumer rights are well-preserved,” said Fakru.

The ratings were presented by KPDNHEP Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail during a ceremony held at Sunway Velocity Mall.

At the same time, Fakru Radzi said SACC Mall is one of the forces that attracts tourists to Shah Alam as well as the PKNS Shah Alam Complex which is always flooded with visitors especially during the fasting month.

He said it was also one of the important factors for PREC to implement improvements to its assets to be user friendly and to remain relevant.

“High-impact charging programmes attract more visitors to our shopping centers such as the ‘PREC Beyblade Battle’ which will take place on 21 July.

“In addition, there was a Selangor Level Theater Competition with the involvement of primary and secondary students on 24 July,” he said.

Meanwhile, Saifuddin Nasution via Facebook stated that ZPT is a rating system created by KPDNHEP to recognize the complex of businesses conducting business ethically in line with the act and rules enforced by the ministry.

Among the middle zone level rating recipients in Selangor are Aeon Mall Shah Alam and Gateaway @ KLIA 2, while the recipients of the Federal Territories are Sunway Velocity Mall, Pavilion and Suria KLCC and the recipient of the Federal Territory of Putrajaya is Alamanda Shopping Center.
