Sungai Selangor, Rantau Panjang Water Treatment Plant Resume Operations

SHAH ALAM – Pengurusan Air Selangort Sdn Bhd informed that the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant  Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 and Rantau Panjang LRA resume operations at 3.30 am today.

Head of Customer Relations and Communications Department, Abdul Raof Ahmad said his department was still in the process of upgrading and stabilizing the pool level and pressure in the distribution system for the water recovery process in stages.

“Trucks lorry assistance is geared towards prioritizing customers and critical premises as well as emergency situations,” said Abdul Raof.

“As this incident involves a large-scale disruption, please seek cooperation from the local Service Centers (SMEs) and public organizations to avoid delay in the delivery of water tankers,” he said in a statement earlier this morning.

Abdul Raof said with the help of related agencies, Air Selangor is working hard to provide assistance and speed up recovery to all affected areas.
