SHAH ALAM – Training and Education Initiative Bureau, Rahmah Women’s Consultative Council (MAWAR) organized the first ‘Menuju Negara Rahmah’ Seminar in Selangor and was praised by a State Government Exco.
Exco of Entrepreneur Development as well as Rural, Village and Traditional Development, Rodziah Ismail said the seminar explored the concept of the Blessings of Lil ‘Alamin, the Syariah Maqasid and the concept of a ‘Rahmah’ state.
She stated that it indirectly provided the participants with insight on the matter and thus can be practiced and incorporated into their daily lives.
“I hope MAWAR will continue to conduct such programmes or seminars and hopefully will focus more towards the rural Selangor areas,” she said.
“At the same time, I hope that participants will come to appreciate its meaning and use it as guidance for their daily lives,” she said at the closing ceremony of the ‘Menuju Negara Rahmah’ seminar at the Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS), here on 6 August.
Earlier, more than 200 participants from the Power Center for Women and Village Community Management Council around Selangor attended the seminar.
It was also attended by Exco of Health, Welfare, Women and Family Empowerment, Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud.
