22 Participants Receive Aid from the Klang District Blueprint Assistance Programme

KLANG – 22 participants in the Klang District Blueprint Assistance Program received RM 63,400 worth of equipment to start and expand their businesses.

Exco of Economic Empowerment and Development Authority and Welfare Government, V Ganabatirau said the programme, which has been held since 2003, is the best platform for economic growth.

He said the assistance provided by the state government is an effort and incentive that motivates small entrepreneurs to improve their economic status.

“The difference between those who failed and those who succeed is not because of the idea itself, but because of their courage to take the risk of coming out of poverty,” he said.

“Therefore, every small entrepreneur who is assisted must ensure success is created with exceptional results so that the economy can be boosted,” he noted.

He said this when met at the Klang District Poverty Alleviation Blueprint Assistance Program 2019, at the Multipurpose Hall, Land and Klang Office on 24 September.

Ganabatirau said RM 12.9 million was spent on 4,109 small entrepreneurs nationwide from 2008 to 2019.

At the same time, he hoped that all recipients could take advantage of the assistance provided by the state government towards a successful life.

“I believe that all the opportunities and planning for the development of various races in the state are aimed at prospering the state and ensuring the survival of the people,” he said.

Meanwhile, recipient Siti Ruzana Ab Rahim, 44, from Rantau Panjang was pleased with the help of two portable bedding units and a UV Sterilizer machine.

“I am grateful for the help given to improve my business for the last three years,” she said.

Receiver D Anthony, 35, said his motorcycle repair business had been closed due to lack of capital and was unable to buy equipment.

“However, this year I opened it again and received help from the state by receiving a water compressor equipment,” he said.
