SHAH ALAM – The state government will focus on the safety and well-being of the people in the State Budget 2020 which is expected to be presented by the end of this year.
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the factors would be combined with the existing Selangor Smart app to ensure the safety of the people of Selangor is maintained.
He said the next step would be to increase the installation of closed-circuit cameras (CCTVs) and has several identified key locations for it.
“The City Planning Department has identified the location for the CCTV to be located and is only waiting for information and data on the matter,” said Amirudin.
“I am also looking forward to meet with the Ministry of Home Affairs to discuss the issue of increasing police personnel in the state,” he said.
Amirudin said this when met by the media following the 2020 Economic Empowerment Budget Dialogue ‘Selangor Come Together’ at the Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam.
The Budget Dialogue Council 2020 also featured the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dr Kamal Mat Salih and Prime Minister’s Economic Advisor, Dr Muhammed Abdul Khalid.
