SHAH ALAM, April 15 — The Hulu Selangor district police (IPD) will take action against anyone who removes the concrete road barriers that have been placed by the authorities on several roads.

In a Facebook post today, the district police said the barrier on Jalan Macau, Serendah, which blocks the exit route during the movement control order (MCO) period, had been moved by irresponsible parties.

Police personnel had to move back the barriers to its initial spot.

In a separate post, the Hulu Selangor district special forces unit and crime prevention patrol had arrested 10 people for defying the MCO.

The individuals were arrested in Taman Bukit Teratai in Bukit Sentosa, Jalan Melati in Bukit Beruntung and Gohtong Jaya.

“Two of them were issued compounds while the other eight were remanded for further proceedings,” the statement said.
