Keep calm, refer verified info, MBSA tells Shah Alam residents

SHAH ALAM, April 13 — The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has urged the public to remain calm, abide by the movement control order (MCO) and only refer to verified information on the Covid-19 developments.

Through a Facebook post yesterday, the local council said 53 houses along Jalan Puyuh 6/1D and Jalan Tiung 6/1E in Shah Alam have undergone the Covid-19 screening yesterday.

The screening exercise had involved the Petaling Land and District Office, the Petaling Health District Office and the police.

“We would like to thank the agencies involved as well as the residents for cooperating with the programme.

“The screening exercise today (yesterday) is part of the initiative to ensure the country is free from the Covid-19 infection,” the statement read.

Also present during the operation were MSBA deputy president Mohd Rashidi Ruslan, Petaling district officer Johary Anuar, and Petaling Health District Office medical officer Dr Nazirul Akmal, who was also the head coordinator of the screening programme in Section 6, Shah Alam.
