MB thanks medical workers on World Health Day

SHAH ALAM, April 8 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has praised the ‘dedication to service’ of the frontliners and healthcare workers during the Covid-19 outbreak, in his World Health Day message of gratitude.

He had on his official Twitter account conveyed his appreciation to those involved in the healthcare service sectors for their contribution.

“My utmost heartfelt gratitude to all healthcare workers for your immense sacrifices to protect the health and well-being of people.

“Thank you to all the healthcare workers in Malaysia. May God bless them,” Amirudin wrote yesterday.

World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7 since 1950.

The theme for 2020 is to support nurses and midwives for their contribution in making the world a healthier place.
