Over 4,000 students enrolled in Selangor e-learning platform

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, April 3 — A total of 4,295 students from Year one to Form five have registered under the state’s free e-learning platform, says Selangor Education Foundation senior director.

Zahura Zakry said this comes right after the announcement made by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, yesterday.

“The online learning platform which runs from April 1 to May 31, targets 250,000 students under the purview of the Education Ministry (MOE) and the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais).

“In line with the principle of the Selangor Foundation, we are committed to ensuring all students in the state are able to study at home, especially during the movement order control (MCO) period.

“Although the MOE announces various forms of online learning modules, initiatives taken by the state government will be an added incentive to ensure students are still able to enjoy the learning process,” she said when contacted by SelangorKini today.

Yesterday, the state administration had introduced the free e-learning platform for Selangor students that is accessible from today until May 31

The students can register and use this application through the website at selangortutor.com

The e-learning platform is an initiative under the second phase of the Selangor economic stimulus package, Selangor Care 2.0.
