Selangor conducts public survey to study Covid-19 impact

SHAH ALAM, April 2 — The Selangor government has launched a public survey to study the economic and social impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people in the state.

Coordinated by Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI), the survey is accessible online and respondents can participate by filling in a Google Doc Survey Form.

“Representing the state government, MBI is carrying out a survey to understand in detail how the Covid-19 outbreak has affected the public.

“We would like to know the kind of challenges faced as well as the needs of the Selangor people,” the statement on the survey form read.

MBI had given assurance on data protection of the information submitted, adding that it will also be used as a future reference for the state government in formulating upcoming initiatives that would benefit all.

“Your cooperation in filling up the survey is very much appreciated,” said MBI.

The survey form can be found at http://gg.gg/survey-MBI and it is open to participants of the age 18 and above.

It includes several sections, such an overview of the respondent’s occupation and the movement control order (MCO) impact on daily activities.
