Selangor records 22 new coronavirus cases on April 1

SHAH ALAM, April 2 — Selangor has recorded 22 new positive Covid-19 cases out of the total 142 new cases reported as of noon yesterday.

This saw a decline in the number of new cases in comparison to the recorded 32 cases on Tuesday.

However, the state stood with the highest number of cases in the country with 726 cases out of the total 2,908 cases nationwide.

According to the data on new positive cases, Sarawak had recorded the highest increase yesterday with 32 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (25).

Perlis, which has a total of 12 cases, Putrajaya and Labuan have not recorded any new cases.

To date, Malaysia’s death toll stood at 45.

The country had recorded its highest number of recovery yesterday with 108, bringing the total number of patients recovered and discharged to 645.
