Bagan Nakhoda Omar once again a yellow zone

SHAH ALAM, May 12 — Bagan Nakhoda Omar has slipped from a green zone to a yellow zone after one new Covid-19 case was reported in the township yesterday. It was declared a green zone for four consecutive days as no active cases were recorded.

This brings the total townships classified as green zones back to 30 from 31 on Tuesday.

The Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) said although some leeway has been given under the modified conditional movement control order (MCMCO), the public is reminded to remain vigilant in practising the new norm.

“The people of Selangor must practice social distancing, maintain personal hygiene, and wear the face mask.

“Remember to use the SELangkah system every time visiting a business premise,” the task force said on Facebook last night.

Yesterday, Selangor recorded two new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total figure to 1,612 with 146 active cases.
