SHAH ALAM, June 10 — The total number of Covid-19 cases tested positive at Taman Langat Utama and Taman Langat Murni in Kuala Langat remain at nine, following the screening operation conducted on its residents since June 6.

Kuala Langat district officer Mohd Jusni Hashim said as of yesterday, 96 per cent of the total samples involving 4,447 residents have been tested while 171 are pending results.

“Those who have been allowed to exit and enter the area are reminded to not cross state borders until the enforced semi-enhanced movement control order (SEMCO) is lifted on June 16,” he told SelangorKini today.

The SEMCO was enforced on June 3 after 24 cleaning workers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) were found positive for Covid-19.

A total of 4,627 Covid-19 samples were taken from the residents involving 3,686 locals and 941 foreigners.
