SHAH ALAM, June 3 — The Kuala Langat Health District Office will carry out Covid-19 community screening beginning today.

The mass testing, which will be carried for two days, involves residents from Pangsapuri Langat Utama, Taman Langat Murni and Pangsapuri Langat Murni, both locals and foreigners.

“Priority will be given to senior citizens, pregnant women and those accompanying children. This group is advised to come earlier and bring along their MyKad, MyKid, or passport,” the district office said in a statement on Facebook today.

The participants must wear protective face masks and adhere to the social distancing rule.

The three locations where the screening will be held are as follow:

1. Pangsapuri Langat Murni — the area on the same row as the shop next to the surau (9.30am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm)

2. Taman Langat Murni — Jalan Murni 6/10 public playground (9.30am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm)

3. Pangsapuri Langat Utama — next to the Trans Air building (9.30am to 1pm)

As of noon yesterday, the Kuala Langat district recorded 20 active Covid-19 cases, where all are registered in the Tanjung Dua Belas township.

All the other remaining seven townships in the district are classified as a green zone.
