Hulu Kelang now a green zone

SHAH ALAM, June 18 — Hulu Kelang in Gombak is now declared a green zone after the one remaining active Covid-19 case recorded in the township has fully recovered.

Based on the infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC), Selangor now has 38 townships classified as a green zone and 18 yellow zones.

“Always ensure that you are in a safe space by applying the standard operating procedure that has been provided by the National Security Council (NSC) as well as using the SELangkah (contact tracing) system,” the task force said on Facebook last night.

Selangor registered five new Covid-19 cases out of the total 10 cases reported nationwide yesterday, bringing the total number of positive cases in the state to 2,004.

The Health Ministry said the five cases identified in Selangor involve four patients from the old folks’ home cluster in Kuala Selangor and one from a tahfiz centre screening.

Selangor currently recorded 57 active Covid-19 cases and the death toll remains at 116.
