Only one positive Covid-19 case recorded in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, June 17 — Only one positive Covid-19 case was registered in Selangor out of the 11 new cases reported nationwide yesterday.

This brings the cumulative figure in the state to 1,999.

According to an infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC), the one reported case was recorded in Klang.

“The zones based on active cases in the state remain the same, except for the one new case recorded.

“Take advantage of the positive momentum by practising the new normal as well as using the SELangkah contact tracing system. Keeping up a positive attitude will help free us from Covid-19,” the task force said on a Facebook post last night.

Eight districts in Selangor are classified as a yellow zone — Sepang with 13 active cases, followed by Gombak (12), Kuala Langat (11), Hulu Langat (9), Kuala Selangor (4), Petaling (3), Sabak Bernam (3), and Klang (2).

Hulu Selangor remains a green zone for the second consecutive day.
