Sunway Pyramid expands ‘order and collect’ initiative

KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 — With the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) in full effect, Sunway Pyramid is bringing the mall to shoppers who prefer to get their essentials from the comfort of their home via the expansion of its ‘Order and Collect’ campaign.

The improved campaign, starting Thursday to 17 July 2021, will allow shoppers to enjoy food delivery from over 40 participating food and beverage retailers with more to come in just one delivery.

Sunway Pyramid chief operating officer Kevin Tan explained that the service was introduced to address customers’ concerns on their wellbeing and safety, as well as providing them peace of mind to enjoy their favourite food and beverages.

“The system was expanded to provide added convenience to shoppers as we slowly ease into recovery and other lifestyle services that they have come to know and love. This way, they can still have the Sunway Malls experience in their homes, and support our retailers at the same time,” he said in a statement today.

Previously, the campaign only allowed shoppers to call ahead of time to make orders and collect them at designated stations.

As an added bonus, in the first month of the campaign, Kevin said shoppers who use the service could enjoy free delivery, receive 5X Sunway Pals points, and RM5 promo code off their bill.

He said the initiative was made possible with local delivery partner MatDespatch which would be managing the deliveries in accordance with stringent safety and hygiene practices.

Currently, he said the new campaign is only available at Sunway Pyramid, but there are plans to introduce similar initiatives in other Sunway Malls within this year and next year.

On the delivery area, he said, it is available within Klang Valley with delivery rates beginning from RM7 and are subject to increase depending on the customer’s location.

However, he said, shoppers who still like to pick up their orders at the ‘Order and Collect’ stations outside the mall, they can still do so as the stations are still in service.

For more information or to make an order now, shoppers can visit www.sunwaypyramid.com.
