Travel Malaysia e-Fair project to drive support for domestic tourism

KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 — An online travel solidarity project crafted by Ab & Artho Tourism Marketing & PR and supported by Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) is a collective effort to help revive the tourism economy in Malaysia.

The project is supported by a local booking platform co-partner, MyRoomPass, according to a statement.

Travel Malaysia e-Fair invites MAH members to participate and propose special room rates and packages (Hotels Hot Deals) during a sale period planned from August 7 to 9.

Travel Malaysia e-Fair is an informal and digital event-based project, whereby Malaysian hotels under MAH and leisure companies come together, expressing the need to help Malaysian hotel business and create interest for Malaysians to purchase hotel offers.

The curated travel project is united with member hotels encouraged to offer generous discounted rates for hotel stays, fulfilling the objectives to support and stimulate the national economy and also encourage Malaysians and residents to go on domestic vacation.

“We encourage Malaysians to take advantage of this promotion as the validity of the RoomPass purchased may be used over a period of one year from date of purchase, depending on terms and conditions of participating hotels,” said MAH President, Halim Merican.

MyRoomPass, as the event partner, provides the convenience of buying the room offers and booking hotel accommodation using a dedicated booking platform.
